About Me (Kate)
Hello, and welcome to K Recruitment Specialists.
A country girl at heart, who was born and raised on a farm in regional NSW, who has a passion for supporting local business through connecting people to opportunities.
I am a local Tamworth mother of 3 beautiful children, with years of experience in business, leadership and management, and recruitment; and it wasn't until I started my recruitment journey in that I realised my passion and the fulfilment I got when I played a part in connecting someone to their dream job, or when I found the right person for an employer and local business.
Working for a local recruitment agency is where it all really started for me. During my time I was able to learn and develop my skills, completing a Diploma in Business, Leadership and Management, and Human Resources and a Cert IV in Employment Services, and gaining an understanding of local recruitment challenges and job searching barriers. These qualifications along with my experience and skills enabled me to become a natural in this field. In 2024, I ventured out on my own, to give a more personalised, local touch to the community to both, people seeking new employment and local businesses.
Being in this industry, in Tamworth has shown me that recruitment in regional areas is tough. Finding the right job that changes your life, or that right person that helps to grow your business, that feeling you get when you know it's right, is rare and hard to find, and that's where I can help.
